Adding a Yahoo email account is a little bit different than adding other email providers. While there are a few more steps involved, they are clearly laid out below. If you have any issues along the way, feel free to reach out!
1. Go to the main page of your yahoo account. You can find it here: https://www.yahoo.com/
Click your profile info and select Settings.
2. Go to your Account Security settings and scroll to the bottom of the page and click Generate app password.
3. Click the drop down and choose Other App.
4. From there you can enter a custom name.
5. For example purposes, we've chosen 'Lightfolio'. Then select Generate.
6. Copy the password that is generated, glance at the instructions on the screen and then log back into your Lightfolio account.
7. Inside the About Me + Email tab, open the Add Email Account button and paste the auto-generated password inside the password section of your "Email Account." Make sure the email provider selected is "Yahoo." From there, press Test Connection. If the connection is a success, then click Save. Your Yahoo email account is now setup.
